RESEARCH STUDY:
Improving Mental Health Treatment Through Voice Analysis
Are you starting TMS or Spravato treatment at Acacia Clinics? You may be eligible to participate in our research study.
We are conducting a research study to develop better ways to personalize mental health treatments. Our study uses voice analysis technology to understand how people might respond to Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) or Spravato (esketamine) treatments.
Are between 18-68 years old
Have been diagnosed with at least one of the following conditions:
Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Bipolar Disorder
Are scheduled to receive TMS or Spravato treatment
Are fluent in English
Have access to a device with internet connection and a microphone
You may be eligible if you:
What would I need to do?
Complete a 10-minute voice recording task:
Two days before starting treatment
One day before treatment
Daily during your treatment period
4 weeks after your final treatment
Complete standard clinical assessments as part of your regular care
Fill out questionnaires online about your symptoms and experience
Length of Study
Two days before starting treatment until four weeks after your final treatment.
Number of Study Visits
No additional clinic visits required–participate from home.

Receive $50 compensation upon study completion
No additional clinic visits are required – participate from home
No interference with your regular treatment

You have to receive treatment at one of these clinics to be eligible for the study.
This study is funded by Psyrin Inc. and has been reviewed by Advarra IRB.
